​S'mores Trailside Dining is the Poconos' Best Kept Secret! S'mores is Barley Creek’s outdoor dining experience -- a unique, private getaway nestled in the trees behind our Pint Size Park. Each S'mores site features a private trailside dining space with picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, fire pits, and plenty of room to kick back, relax, and enjoy a delicious meal under the stars.

FAMILY-STYLE MENUS
Choose from our special S’mores family-style menu packages, all of which include a S’mores platter for dessert! We have so many fun packages to choose from, including favorites from our Smokehouse and Steakhouse, Classic Cookout options, Perfect Picnic Platters, Seafood Boils and Small Bites. You can also personalize packages by selecting your favorite add-ons! Check out the menu here. (Please note: no outside food or beverage is permitted.)

BEVERAGES
Alcoholic beverages are not included with your food package, but at the S'mores Bar you can order from our selection of house-made drinks. You can choose from:

​RESERVATIONS REQUIRED
Reservations are required and can be booked below. We offer 2-hour time slots for groups of 4 to 24 people, based on availability. For larger parties, we can talk about multi-site options. Please book reservations at least 4 days in advance whenever possible. When requesting a reservation, be sure to include:

WEATHER
While we love dining under the stars, Mother Nature sometimes has other plans! S'mores dining sites are outside and shaded, which means evenings can get chilly. Fire pits provide ambiance, but limited heat. We recommend checking the forecast and dressing accordingly.
In the event of extreme weather (rain, lightning, hail, etc.) we may have to cancel reservations for safety reasons. If that happens, we'll contact you as soon as possible to reschedule or offer a takeout option so you can enjoy your S'mores package at home!

IMPORTANT NOTE
Underage drinking is strictly forbidden and will be closely monitored. Any underage drinking by a guest in your party will result in immediate removal of the entire group with no refund. Authorities will be notified where applicable.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is the site private?
Yes, each site is only booked for one group. We have a total of five sites that vary in size to accommodate a variety of groups.

Do you have wine or cocktails?
We do! You can choose from our selection of Barley Creek beer, Barley Creek canned cocktails, wine, or off of our drink menu at the S'mores Bar. You can also purchase wine by the bottle or the glass.

Can I bring my children?
Absolutely! S’mores dining is family-friendly!

Can I bring my dog to the S'mores Site?
Yes, but you must notify us in advance. We will send you our dog policy, the most important thing being that your pup must remain on a leash that is held the entire time. In other words, no leash dragging on the ground behind the pup or tethered to a tree or other object.

Can I take the leftovers?
We pack up any leftover food to go home with you. Bottles of wine must be recorked and we need to attach your dinner receipt to your bottle.

Can I bring my own food or drinks?
No. Outside food and drinks are prohibited.

Are we permitted to use the Pint Size Park amenities?
Yes, as long as the facility is not closed for a private function.

Can you accommodate groups of more than 20?
Absolutely! We can book multiple sites to accommodate larger groups. Just tell us in the comments section of your reservation request. We will work with you to plan your event.

Can I decorate the site?
We’re big believers in no-trace camping, and that means simple decorations that can be easily removed, disposed of, and won’t leave a mark of any kind on furniture, firepits, or Mother Nature (we love our trees!). Absolutely no nails, staples, screws, glue, tape, confetti – you get the idea. The only thing you should leave behind is the faint trace of your footprints and the echoes of your happy laughter.

Some last important notes:
We take underage drinking very seriously. If any member of your party who is under 21 is in possession of an alcoholic beverage or suspected to be consuming an alcoholic beverage, the reservation will be terminated immediately. Authorities will be notified where applicable. All illicit drugs are also prohibited.

No foreign objects are permitted to be placed in the firepits (including burning of the S'mores sticks).

We know it’s tempting, but no climbing of trees, fences, or walls. Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not trespass on their property.
