Back in the old days, Scottish brewers used heather flowers instead of hops to impart flavor, creating heather beers that were the stuff of legends. Robert Louis Stevenson penned the poem “Galloway Legend” in honor of beers made “from the bonny bells of heather.” Our Come Hither is brewed with heather tips and Sorachi Ace whole cone hops. The heather imparts a mild, grassy, green-tea flavor, with a light-bodied, dry finish, similar to a Belgian Abbey Ale.
