Barley Creek is committed to your safety

Barley Creek is proud that we’ve been able to stay open to help meet essential food needs within our community. You can be sure that the safety of our people, guests and neighbors is our top priority. We are constantly monitoring and following all the guidelines from the CDC and government health experts. This is our home. You are our people. We’re privileged to serve you, and we really appreciate your support now and always.

Here are just a few steps we’re taking every single day:

Pre-shift health screening and temperature checks for all employees.

Employees are following all guidelines, wearing food handler gloves, and washing hands often. Sanitation stations are set up in multiple areas.

Employees are properly masked at all times during their shift. Guests must wear masks whenever they are not seated. While seated, masks may be removed.

We’re in the food business, so we are already held to a very high standard. Now, we are going above and beyond with daily deep cleaning, plus sanitation of all shared surfaces every 30 minutes. Additionally, we are completely wiping down tables after every seating. We’ve set up a check-in/check out system for game equipment so that our staff can properly sanitize after each guest use.

All tables and common areas are arranged for appropriate social distancing. Guests are asked not to move or rearrange tables and chairs.

We have a LOT of space outside and we’re experts at outdoor dining, with the Pint Size Park as a popular outdoor dining spot for the past 18 years. We have a pavilion, deck, tents, sidewalk café, wiffleball field, and we’ve even created new private areas to help maximize social distancing for the comfort of our guests.

As per Governor Wolf’s COVID-19 mitigation orders, PA restaurants’ indoor dining is currently open at 50% capacity.  Guests are not able to sit at the bar either inside or outside. All customers being served must be seated at a table. We’ve arranged our tables for appropriate social distancing and added new partitions at our booths. We look forward to resuming bar service when it’s allowed.

Contactless menus are available with a QR code scan, or you can request a disposable paper menu. Contactless order, delivery and curbside pickup options are available for guests who wish to dine at home.

We’re making FDA-approved hand sanitizer in our distillery and offering free bottles with table service, as well as with take-out orders (while supplies last).

Barley Creek has signed both the Pocono Promise and the PA Restaurant Promise, showing our commitment to protecting the public, our employees, and our customers with a pledge to follow all federal, state and local guidelines throughout all phases of reopening and recovery.
